Mark L. Shidler - President
Mark L. Shidler Inc., Midstream Compression Services, Inc., and Prime Royalty Company, LLC are led by their president and founder Mark L. Shidler. Mark has four decades of experience in various facets of the petroleum industry. Prior to founding Mark L Shidler Inc. in 1978, Mark held engineering and management positions with several large oil and gas companies, including Getty Oil Company, Ashland Oil Inc., and was a consultant for Occidental Petroleum.
Mark graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in the State of Texas, and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, SIPES, IPAA, TIPRO, and the Houston Producer's Forum.
Gregory B. Gregson - Operations Manager and Geologist
Gregory has thirty years of experience in the petroleum industry as a geologist, and is a key asset of the Mark L. Shidler Inc. management team. In addition, Gregory has extensive experience in operations, having successfully drilled, completed, and worked over numerous wells in many different basins during his career.
Gregory graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1980, with a Bachelor of Science in Geology. He is a registered professional geologist in Arkansas, Mississippi, and Texas. Gregory is also a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the Houston Geological Society.
Andrew M. Shidler - Vice President, Engineering and Real Estate
Andrew has extensive knowledge of all facets of oil & gas acquisition and divestment, including economic/ engineering evaluations, field operations experience, and regulatory issues/property tax appraisals. He previously held the position of engineer with the Oil & Gas Asset Clearinghouse. Andrew supervises operational cost analysis, general state regulatory filings, and economic and engineering analysis for the company's current and future properties. Andrew is also responsible for analyzing real estate acquisitions, property management, and development of properties owned by Campbell Road Partners, LLC.
Andrew graduated from The University of Texas at Austin where he received his Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, IPAA, and TIPRO. Andrew is a licensed Real Estate Agent in the State of Texas. Additionally, Andrew holds a FAA pilot certificate with single and multi engine instrument ratings along with complex and high performance endorsements. He is Mark L. Shidler, Inc.'s corporate pilot.
Jeffrey H. Shidler - Vice President, Land and Administration
Jeffrey has over 15 years diverse experience in acquisitions and divestitures (in many different basins and plays), evaluation of future acquisitions and drilling opportunities, business development, negotiations, land/leasing and contract matters, and strategic and financial planning. Since 2003 he has been directly involved in the analysis, negotiation, acquisition, and post closing of oil and gas properties valued at over $90 million. Jeffrey also currently manages a private investment portfolio with interests in energy, real estate, healthcare, and other public and private equity investments.
Jeffrey graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts with honors and from the University of Houston with a Master of Business Administration with honors. He is a member of the IPAA and TIPRO.
Clifford L. Cheadle - Accounting Manager
Clifford is a valued member of the Mark L. Shidler Inc. staff, and has many years of oil and gas accounting and financial management experience. He previously worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at AMAX Oil and Gas, Inc. and as Accounting Manager at First Reserve Oil & Gas Company and Roberson Oil & Gas Company.
He is responsible for managing all of the accounting personnel and activities of Mark L. Shidler Inc., Midstream Compression Services Inc., Prime Royalty Company, LLC, Blackstream Energy, LLC, and Campbell Road Partners, LLC, including financial statements, treasury management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, division orders, state severance tax filings, monthly production reports, cash flow management, joint interest billing, and owner relations.
Nancy B. Pousson - Revenue Accounting Supervisor
Nancy has many years of oil and gas accounting and data management experience and is primarily responsible for revenue accounting and production accounting. She supervises revenue distribution and all state regulatory filings for our operated wells.
Nancy graduated from Steven F. Austin University with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
